Guidance for setting up your UWA Profile and adding publications to your profile and the Repository.

Creating a Curriculum Vitae

The contents of your UWA Profile can be used to create a Curriculum Vitae (CV). The CV can be kept private or made available publicly on your Profile. CVs can be edited as desired and downloaded as either PDF or Word documents.

To create a CV:

  1. Log into the UWA Profiles and Research Repository with your UWA SSO credentials.
  2. Click the Add curriculum vitae link which sits next to your profile picture

  3. Select either the option for a Public CV (available on your public profile) or a Private CV (available only to you).

  4. Select the content you would like included in your CV by marking the checkboxes presented and then click Create. Options on this menu will vary based on the content of your Profile.

  5. Edit the CV as required using the icons displayed on the left hand side of sections as you hover over them. All elements are customisable.

  6. Sections of your CV will be dynamic by default, this means they will be updated automatically as new items are added to your profile. You can change individual sections to be static (not automatically updated) by clicking on the Edit icon that appears when you hover over the section and selecting Make static at the bottom of the menu.

  7. Finalising the CV:
  • To make a Public CV available, check the Publish box at the bottom of the window and then click the blue Save button. The CV will display via a link on your profile that appears under your profile picture. CVs can be unpublished at any time by unchecking the 'Publish' box in the record and Saving.
  • To save a Private CV, simply finalise the editing and click the blue Save button at the bottom of the window.
