UWA Profiles and Research Repository Support

Guidance for setting up your UWA Profile and adding publications to your profile and the Repository.

Importing from online source

If your dataset is saved in another data repository, such as FigShare, Zenodo or Dryad, you can link it to your Repository record. 

  1. Log into the UWA Profiles and Research Repository with your UWA SSO credentials.
  2. Click the green +Add content button. Navigate to Dataset, click Import from online source.
  3. Select Data Monitor.

  1. Search for your dataset. You can do a general search or search specifically by title, author, DOI or year, then click Search.
  2.  A list of records will appear in the search results. Click Import under the relevant record(s).
  3. Check the author affiliation details then click Import & review.
  4. Read the Terms of Agreement, accept the terms of the agreement at the end of the window, and Continue.
  5. Ensure the details are correct, particularly the list of authors and affiliations.

  1. The Managing Organisational unit is your current UWA affiliation. Start typing your current UWA affiliation and select it from the drop-down menu.
  2. If your dataset was funded by the ARC or NHMRC, add your grant information to the publication record.
  3. Click the Save button at the bottom of the record.
