The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations (UN) in 2015 provide a ‘shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future’. The SDGs underpin our UWA Grand Challenges.
The Repository enables UWA researchers to showcase their research that contributes to the Goals by using SDG icons and filters. This functionality enables UWA research and researchers to be searched and discovered by each goal.
New! Functionality has recently been added to enable SDGs to display on UWA organisations/research entity profile pages in the Repository.
How it works
Relevant SDGs are automatically added to UWA profiles, research outputs and organisation/research entity pages. All researchers and organisations/research entities are encouraged to review the automatically assigned SDGs to ensure they are a true reflection of their research.
You can add or remove SDGs from your profile under Edit profile, and from your research outputs from within the output record. Watch the video below for instructions on adding and removing SDGs from your profile and research outputs.
Changes to Organisation/research entity pages can be made by emailing help-repository@uwa.edu.au. If an organisation/research entity does not already have a page in the Repository, the Director can request one to be set up manually by following the steps outlined in the Research Entity Toolkit.
