This example text shows where to position the note numbers of the citations in the text, their details in the associated footnotes at the bottom of the page, and Bibliography located at the bottom of the document.

In this example, the footnote is formatted with the note number in normal font size and with the first line indented, as suggested in the Chicago Manual of Style. By default, Microsoft word will format footnotes with a superscript number and no indent. Please check which option your Unit Coordinator prefers.

NB: This example text was updated 23 March 2021. The previous example used the default Microsoft Word footnote format setting (superscript note number and no indent).
