Looking for resources in an Asian or European language taught at UWA?

To find a list of language specific databases for languages taught and studied at UWA use the Find Databases tool . Linguistics and Translation Studies databases can also be found using the Find Databases tool.

Using the OneSearch Advanced Search option, type in your search term(s), then use the Language drop-down option to select the language of the material you need.

You can refine your results further by using the Filters on the left hand side panel in the list of results. For example, selecting resource type will allow you to limit your results to books, articles, videos, etc.

Did you know that as a student from UWA you are entitled to register as a Reciprocal Borrower at all other university libraries in Perth?

If UWA does not hold an item you need, you can search Libraries Australia to see if the item is held in one of our local University libraries to borrow.  Click on the Reciprocal Borrowing page below for more information about this service.

UWA staff, Honours and Post-graduate students are eligible to use our inter-library loans and document delivery service, Get Itto obtain items not held in our collections.
