Looking for resources in an Asian or European language taught at UWA?

To find language-specific databases for languages studied at UWA, use the Find Databases tool and open the 'Arts' dropdown on the left hand side. You can also locate databases for Linguistics and Translation Studies through this tool.

Using the OneSearch Advanced Search option, type in your search term(s), then use the Language drop-down option to select the language of the material you need.

From the results page, you can refine your results further by using the Filters on the left hand side panel. For example, selecting resource type will allow you to limit your results to books, articles, videos, etc.

Did you know that as a student from UWA you are entitled to register as a Reciprocal Borrower at all other university libraries in Perth?

If UWA does not hold an item you need, you can search Libraries Australia to see if the item is held in one of our local University libraries to borrow.  Visit the Reciprocal Borrowing page (screenshot below) for more information about this service, and to sign up.

UWA staff, Honours and Post-graduate students are eligible to use our inter-library loans and document delivery service, Get Itto obtain items not held in our collections. Click the "Requesting options for staff and postgraduates" dropdown for more information, or view our Get It FAQs.
