Try the following to locate architectural plans or elevations.

How to search in Avery index to Architectural Periodicals 

• Do a keyword search using the name of the building or architect 

• Click on one of your search results to see more detailed information

• Look in the "Source" field. Generally if it has "plans" listed here the article will include floor plans of the building

Or limit your search from the beginning to find articles that have aerial images, designs, details, diagrams, drawings, elevations, photographs and more.

When starting a new search, after typing your search words, scroll down to view the Search Options. Under 'Limit Your Results' there is a section 'Physical Description'. Select an option, then click Search.

Use OneSearch to find books containing plans

• Use Advanced Search
• In the keyword box type in the building or architect of interest and the word "plans" e.g. Lloyd Wright AND plans
• From the drop down menu for "Resource Type" select books

Try using other architecture databases to locate more articles with images, plans, elevations, etc. relating to your building or architect.
