Library Information Literacy Skills Toolkit: HOME

Mission

This collection contains learning and teaching resources designed to assist teaching staff in developing the research and referencing skills of their students. As these skills are best learned in context, the collection consists of re-useable learning resources that can be used in a variety of learning environments from your LMS unit to face to face tutorial groups.  You can make them available to students to use independently or use them to form part of a learning activity for groups or individuals.  The resources support flipped and active learning approaches to building skills in each part of the research process: finding information, evaluating information, referencing and managing information.

The UWA Library's Information and Digital Literacy Skills Framework [PDF, 258 KB], is a blueprint for developing skills for learning, researching, and working in a digital society and can help you pinpoint the skills your students need.

See the Library Guides for a different format of online learning resource.
