Legal research: Library facilities

The guide provides an overview of the legal Research Process, how to locate various law sources for your Core Law units, access free law resources, and decipher abbreviations.

Study rooms

The Beasley Law Library currently has five group study rooms, all of which must be booked in advance.

  • 2 rooms on level 1 (capacity 6)
  • 3 rooms on level 4 (capacity 4) 

You can reserve a room online.

Wheelchair and after-hours access

Automatic sliding doors at entry. Lift access is available to the upper floors.

After hours entry via the lift is organised with Beasley Law Library staff.

Where is the Beasley Law Library?

Law Library near Hackett Drive and Oak Lawn

The Beasley Law Library is open 24 hours for UWA students and staff via a campus card. You can enter by swiping your card. Please note, only the Ground floor and Level 1 are available during unstaffed hours.
